Thank you for your interest in Hand in Hand Counseling and the services I offer.

I received my Master of Arts in Counselor Education at Sam Houston State University in 1994 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 1997, and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor soon thereafter.  Since then I have become a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and a Certified EMDR Therapist.  I have worked in public education as a teacher (both regular and special education) and a school counselor.

Specialized techniques that I use include Play Therapy, EMDR Therapy, and Sandtray Therapy.

Although I am semi-retired, I am not certain that I will ever fully retire.  I love what I do too much!

On a personal note, outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 51 years, our 8 children and their spouses, and our 16 grandchildren.  We are truly blessed.
